You and I are very fortunate to call Archuleta County home. It’s vital to preserve the characteristics that brought us all here while managing our rapidly growing community. We have serious issues to be addressed that will affect us long into the future. Therefore, I am asking for your show of support and vote for County Commissioner.

PUBLIC EDUCATION

My mission now is to educate the citizens of Archuleta County with my thinking on important issues such as road maintenance, our rapid growth, user fees, mutual cooperation within county government, upgrading the county maintenance facilities and much more.

I will be conducting “Meet and Greet” get together's in homes across the county in the coming months so that not only will you get to know more about me and my positions, but I also can learn from you what your concerns are. You’ll also see me in local businesses and attending community events and forums. I want to be accessible to you.   I don’t pretend to know it all and I need your input. We can make the running of Archuleta County more effective if we do it together.

WHY AM I RUNNING?

It may seem trite, but I feel that I have important skills to offer.

As a West Point graduate, the cadet’s motto was “Duty, Honor, and Country”. It was instilled in me then and continues with me today in the desire to serve my community. I bring to the table strong leadership and management experience and a desire to make Archuleta County a safer, more cohesive and vibrant place to live.
